'08 250r in Minneapolis
Hey guys. I have a scratched and bruised '08 250r that I've been playing around on for 4 years. It's my first bike and it's been too great an introduction to riding for there to not be more bikes in my future. Bought after 4 previous owners in '11 with 3-4k miles, completely stock aside from the chopped fender. Just about 10k miles later, I've laid it down once, dropped it plenty of times, and gone through a couple sets of signals and a fairing piece or two. In attempt to cover blemishes from dropping and sliding (also just for a facelift), I Plasti-Dipped it from green to white, and got a cheap set of aftermarket levers and grips, along with a bar-end mirror. It's been weathered since, so I'm considering new cosmetic options.
I appreciate all kinds of riding, from country cruising to light hooliganism. I've only had a riding partner once, and it was a bat-**** 17 year old on a Buell 900, so if anyone in MN wants to ride come spring, I'd love to ride with someone who I can keep pace and some semblance of safety with. |
