Koso Rx-2 Gauge for 2008+ 250R

I have a very lightly used Koso RX-2 gauge for 2008+ Ninja 250R bikes. It's plug and play and includes the backing plate, all the wiring you need for your bike. It even has the radiator hose attached to the sensor so that you don't have to cut your own. There are no scratches on the unit and it's very clean.

Price is $240 shipped to your door in the CONUS via Paypal gift (or add 4% for PP fees). PM me if you have any questions. Thanks for looking!

Not sure, but I dislike the fees in general and prefer PP gift. I have solid feedback as a seller here and on other forums, so anyone can buy with confidence.

A few people have installed them. The adapter plate is useless though so you'll have to find your own way to mount it.

Thanks man, if no one has bought it by fall then I might pick it up for my pregen when I do a full conversion to street (in addition to track)

I want to say it was 3500 miles? Not 100% sure though.

Use the fan method to raise the digital odo to match whatever your existing odo is.

Im guessing he means to mount the hall effect pickup sensor on a fan and mount the magnet to one of the blades to simulate a wheel rolling? Let it run until desired mileage is reached.

Does this gauge use a hall effect sensor?

It plugs directly into the OEM sensor cable, which I believe is some sort of a hall effect sensor.

Ok.. I wasnt sure, either. Just guessing. I know the speedo is cable driven so I kind of figured the odometer would also work off of that, mechanically. On other bikes Ive seen that use cable driven speedos, you have to get a cable to digital signal converter.

Admittedly, I JUST got my hands on a Ninja so Im not 100% sure on these things, yet!

All I did was connect the included speed sensor up to the Koso, heavily tape magnets on each blade of the fan, set the Koso to reach each magnet as the largest tire, securely mount the sensor within range of the magnets but not being blown by the fan, and let it run. Here are my results:

Apparently the Koso gauge has a top limit of 223 MPH as it starts blinking.

That's the Ninja 250 "plug 'n' play" adapter. If it still has the original stuff too then it also has the magnetic sensor.
