Engine Swap
Alright guys. I know nothing about bikes and am starting a build. I was wondering if a 2015 Ninja motor would fit on a EX250J frame.

It should slot in on the rear mounts & mate to the top mounts with a small modification or you can get the 300 top mounts & bolt them straight in. I'm working on the same for my ZZR250 to become a ZZR315 big bore Ninja 300 with high compression pistons. This should take it from approx 26rwhp to approx 44rwhp with Fi, which should make it a mini missile

It fits as I did it myself.
I swapped an entire engine with harness and ecu into my 250 frame. I have k&n filter, full yosh exhaust and ecu flash that gives me 43 whp here are all my threads: https://www.ninjette.org/forums/sear...archid=6187882 have fun with you project! |
