Gone: Boots

These are Bilt perforated leather boots, the lining is worn through on one side, and one of the blocks by the toe came off.

I was wearing them until I got my new TCX GoreTex boots, these were passed to me, I believe from a member here.

They are euro size 46,US 13. I would say they are a small 13.
Pay for shipping and they are yours.

They have been spoken for!

They are yours. I'll have to get them packaged up, but I can't see it being any more than $15

Those are my daily wear street boots. For the money... great value. I even picked up a spare, unused pair from another forum member and they're on the shelf, waiting for my current ones to wear out.

Heads up to avoid any possible confusion: Unless things have changed, the US sizing tag sewn into the top reads wrong. The Euro size molded into the sole is correct.

Very good, Jason!
I see you live in Monroe, and have an 82 XV920... is that the RJ with chain drive, or the J with shaft? I have an 81 XV920RH (chain drive) that I bought new in Monroe at Ray's Yamaha, back in 1985... it was a past model year, and I still have it!

Hah, very nice. Mine is a shaft drive. I also have an '84 1000 that I am going to swap in because I'm having starting issues AND the trans is popping out of gear.

I have a slowly progressing build thread for it.

Cool! I also have an XV1000 engine and an extra XV920RH motor in the basement, and I am going to build the 920 with the top end from the Xv1000, and also the starter side of the 1000. I would like to pull the cams and send them to MegaCycle to have a nice road race grind done on them. 105RWHP is the end result! You CAN swap the starter side onto your XV920J model, without swapping the whole engine... but, if you want to, the engines should interchange. If the mounts don't happen to line up, which is unlikely... you can swap the cylinders, pistons, and heads... or keep your heads... and it should make a nice 980cc motor! I got the XV1000 motor in a swap, and it is very low miles, as there isn't a lip in the top of the cylinder from the rings. It had been in a garage fire, but the internals of the motor were in fine shape. The XV920's all have the extra pilot hole for the newer starter mechanism, and I have brand new gears along with the solenoid and side cover for the XV1000. They will all swap into my XV920, and will yours, also. Now, the XV750's are a different story... the early 81's do NOT have the hole machined for the new style starter. But, the 83's do... not sure if the XV750 from 82 does or not, but it may. Anyway, I will check out your build thread!
Charlie

Yeah, I originally bought the 1000 to swap the starter system and then the trans issues got worse.

100+ hp would be awesome on that!
