Stupid parent should have been paying more attention, they had the daggereyes look, should have been thankful that rider was paying attention. Morons shouldn't be able to have kids.

Close call, but it looks like both the parent and the biker were doing the right thing. No need to call them a moron. Just looks like one of those bad timing situations.

looks like the biker was about to cross a pedestrian crosswalk without stopping to look though...he probably wouldv'e been at fault?

Of course! No visibility of pedestrians (who have right of way) does not imply that there are no pedestrians.
