Haha. On a serious note, buying a bike out there would mean you have to register it and it brings the question if you are going to transfer your drivers license. Plus its always riding weather out there so bikes may command a premium.

And recently ive been thinking of making the move to oakland. Nyc has lost its appeal to me recently.

Sidenote: Its gonna be nice this sat, anyone want to meetup? Warm 52 degrees according to weather.gov

7 months - are you just coming back after ?
The ride from NYC to Sf would be an epic trip.

Look at the bike market out there and decide!

Also if you got this new job does that mean affording a brand new bike lol

Yea, I'm just going there for the 7 months. And as I'm just going for 7 and subletting my place in NYC, I'm bringing a few suitcases and my cat, so no need for a van. My dad offered to drive me (with the bike in tow) to CO, but... Apparently you can't rent pickup trucks for one-way trips and everything is bloody expensive, too. Sigh.

I think I just sold her to my cousin. Which means I might be in the market once I get to the bay area...

Live in endicott, ride almost everyday as long as it doesn't rain. This weekend is actually the start of my Vaca for next week so after that I am almost always available.
