250R FI + US Exhaust.
So guys, i'm just a stupid dane.
I recently ordered a full system Yoshimura from eBay, and now i want to know: What exactly do i have to do, to make it fit? I know that there is some sort of "lambda" thingy, something that controls the gas or something, that has to be weld on. other than that, how do i "jet" it? Is there another option than buying a powercommander? I might not make any sence at all. Hope you can help me :b //Trixxr So to break it up : Is there a guide to install a carb exhaust on a FI bike What do i have to do to the fuel injection system, after the exhaust has been assembled. |

I don’t know about the exhaust fitting by what you need is an up graded ECU putting carbs on a FI bike is not a good idea.

You dont want the PCIII, you want the PCV with auto tune module. Power commander only supports 09 and up for pcv. But will work on the 08 too.

You should install a powercommander, either pc3 or pc5 will work fine. Only the pc5 offer one more throttle position column (15%) for tuning and its smaller and u dont need to run the engine for it to load maps, and also later you can install autotune module so you can fine tune on the road .
Then you go to the nearest dyno tuning center and have your bike tuned for custom map, this is the best way to extract maximum power from your bike . If you use full system exhaust from carbed bike , you dont need to install your original O2 sensor bung on it and you dont need the O2 sensor, the PC3 will tune from low end to top end and you can disable the close loop system by plugging the O2 sensor eliminator to the original O2 sensor socket so the instrument cluster wont display a FI error , this eliminator is provided in the PC3 or 5 kit, if not ask the PC seller for the appropriate sensor eliminator. If later u decide to install AUTOTUNE with PC5 then u need to weld the provided sensor bung to your exhaust and install the O2 sensor provided by the autotune kit. Hope this help |

if i were you, i'll email Dynojet directly and ask. Most of us don't have FI so our answers is sort of pulling it out of our a$$e$$.
