PICKERINGTON, Ohio -- BikeBandit.com AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days, featuring Indian Motorcycle, is a living bike show, packed to all corners with classic motorcycles from nearly every era. The best two-wheeled eye candy, however, will be featured at three bike shows: the AMA All Years Bike Show, the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Bike Show and the Café Racer Reader Ride-In Custom Bike Show.

And this weekend, July 11-13, you can take it all in at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio.

"Attending BikeBandit.com AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days is like stepping back through time with a pit stop in each decade," said AMA Vice President of Operations Jeff Massey. "There are dirt bikes, street bikes, customs and more going back to the early 1900s. The bike shows are a great way to see some of the best examples from each era."

The AMA All Years Bike Show will take place after Friday's Lap for History. Lap for History participants will be able to stage their bikes for the show at the Hall of Fame tent after the lap. Bike show participants who are not riding in the Lap for History can stage their bikes between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. Judging will be for American, European, Japanese and British categories. Awards will be at 3 p.m. Registration is a $5 donation to the Hall of Fame.

Saturday's AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Bike Show will feature restored or original vintage motorcycles outside the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame tent. Registration opens at 8:30 a.m., with professional judging starting at 1 p.m. Registration is a $10 donation. The show features American, British, European and Japanese models from the early 1900s through 1989. Awards will be at 3:30 p.m.

The Café Racer Reader Ride-In Custom Bike Show, put on by Classic Club participant Café Racer magazine, will offer trophies and prizes for bikes in a number of categories covering British, American and Japanese models. No pre-registration necessary. Bikes must be in position in the Café Racer tent by 1 p.m. with awards at 4 p.m. Full details are available at www.caferacermag.com.

With proceeds supporting the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame, BikeBandit.com AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days, featuring Indian Motorcycle, is the country's premier celebration of vintage motorcycles and motorcycling heritage.

For 2014, the event is shining the spotlight on the famed Indian Wrecking Crew, which in the early 1950s made an indelible mark on the history books and solidified the reputation of Indian Motocycles, as the company was then known, as one of the 20th Century's greatest marques. Bobby Hill and Bill Tuman, the surviving members of the Indian Wrecking Crew, which also included the late Ernie Beckman, will serve as grand marshals of BikeBandit.com AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days, featuring Indian Motorcycle.
