I just spent over $50, so I hope it's legit.

Feedback seems to be really good for so many sales.

I'm sure anyone that actually got an order in before they realized the mistake will see that their purchases will have been cancelled.

Won't happen. The buyer and seller have to agree on the cancellation.

I bought 11 items, they refunded my money for two of them. Not the first 2 items, the 2 most expensive items. I'll let ya know if/when they refund the rest.

No communication either, just a refund

Same. I recommend neg. feedback either way. Perhaps they'll learn something, and it's not like there's not an option to review your item(s) before listing!

My e-mail says the items were posted without a price, but with a $5.95 shipping and handling fee.

Says the pricing error was on eBay's end.

All of their items are still showing free shipping, though.

Definitely leaving negative feedback.

Edit:

Tried to open an item not received case for my purchase:

We're sorry there's a problem with this purchase.Unfortunately, PayPal reports that we can't open a case for this item. You can try to work out this problem by contacting the seller.

Also, can't leave negative feedback until 7 days after purchase because this guy's a "PowerSeller."

Leaving negative feedback is a dick move. This wasn't some bait and switch, it was a price mistake and might not have even been the sellers fault. You win some and you lose some. Don't be an asshole to a good seller just because you failed at taking advantage of him.

See, I don't think it would be a "dick move" to leave negative feedback. Why should they be different from my local retailer? If they have a price marked wrong, I get it for that price. Plus, I have received no communication from this seller (even after I reached out to contact him). All I received was a refund with an incorrect reason for the refund

As of now my funds are being held by PayPal while they "conduct their investigation" whatever that means.

We'll see what happens. But I'm reacing out to the seller again, and if I don't get a response, I'll leave negative feedback.

Cynical, i've seen multiple postings from you on here, and it appears you are just a troll. Nothing you have posted has ever been serious or helpful. You should just refrain from posting until you grow up or acquire the ability to respond intelligently.

Moving on...
The only reason they're "off the hook" is because it was done via the internet, like you said, if it was purchased in a retail store, they'd be SOL. Perhaps they should pay attention next time and review the stuff before they list them. It's not like the items automatically get posted...you have to review that crap like 2x before it gets finalized.

On top of that, no communication and now the money we used has to sit in paypal for x amount of days, then it will also be charged paypal's fee....so we aren't fully refunded. I have already contacted them, not threatening or anything, but received no reply.

Sorry if I got y'all in a mess about this. I'm all about passing good deals out. A full refund should be offered by the seller to cover fees that PayPal charges as well.

I am sure that the seller is being bombarded my hundreds of people about the situation and hopefully being a power seller he will make things right.

You would hope so, but according to other feedback received his communication is very poor at best, mostly nonexistent.

How did you dispute this?

I've tried to both eBay and Paypal and I can't dispute either due to the transaction type.

Damn I would be mad as well. Good thing I missed out on these 'great' deals. At first I was mad that I missed out. But seeing the trouble it caused some of you I am glad I did.

Hope all you guys get a full refund from the seller.

So, I still have not recieved a response from this seller so I contacted Ebay.

After looking at my account, the Ebay rep told me that if the seller listed the items for $5.95 (or whatever) that they should have honored those prices and sold the items.

He could see all the items I purchased and the prices. He agreed that this was probably a mistake, BUT the seller is obligated by Ebays policys to honor that price.

He also said that although Ebay could not actually force the seller to honor the price, he recommends that if the seller is unwilling to honor his price, to leave negative feedback.

He asked if I tried to contact the seller (I did) He said to keep trying, if after 7 days from auction end I am not satisfied to "PLEASE LEAVE NEGATIVE FEEDBACK. This way other buyers can be aware of this seller's practices, and it will also hurt their standing with Ebay."

There is a fundamental difference between a brick and mortar retailer and one using 3rd party services to sell online.
Thanks, But I'm gonna go by what the Ebay rep told me:

Since I can't leave NEG fedback till Friday, and my funds are being held, and the seller refuses to even acknowledge my emails, I have re-paid for one of the items.

The item I re-paid for is a t-shirt. It has to be the lowest base cost item I purchased.

If the seller sends me the shirt, he will get all positive feedback. If he simply refunds my money again with no contact, he gets all negative.
