Nice. Good going that puts you over 90mpg . I have my gearing at 15/42 and im just right above 10mph per 1000rpms. Last tank i couldnt get over 83mpg, but then again I hit the highway and was doing 80mph so that probably hurt it.

How do you like riding with the new gearing?

I normally run 15/42 and find that I don't shift as much for the twisties but dip sub 8k from time to time. Freeway comfort is better for me but lacks in passing speed without a downshift. Even ran it on track to keep the bike more in the sweet spot of 8k+ rpm in the back half of the corners and was successful. And it totally sucks with a good stiff headwind.

How on earth do you get those mpg. I am lucky to get 60mph. I am 190lb, fully geared up.

anything beyond 7k rpms will use up more gas. im about 165lbs all geared up though. and I have lightened and taken stuff off that i didnt need, ie pass pegs, cables, stock exhaust. But yeah it lacks somewhat on the freeway but drop one gear and your gold

Holy crap! I thought I was doing good with my 65 mpg..

i don't know that that gearing setup would work well for me though, with the hills i ride in daily just going to a 15 tooth was a big adjustment.

How was your mileage affected with the aftermarket exhaust? Usually i hear of mpg going down because of increased airflow, but that seems not to be the case here?
