I'll continue to get more info. I haven't seen one myself yet, they are new. They attach using the two bottom windscreen screws.

Sam do you think you could get pics of a piece that is a different color from the bike a la your first picture? I think that'd help me figure out exactly how the piece looks and fits. It's kind of difficult to tell with the all red.

Ah..they look neat! How close do they fit? Since the mounting points are only on top I see them being fairly loose at the nose of the bike. Thanks for fielding all the questions so kindly by the way.

How is the cover connected at the bottom? Seems like it would rattle with just the 2 bolts at the top

It's not attached at the bottom. Not many complaints of rattling in the wind, although some people are using a little double-sided tape at the bottom.

I think these things would look sweeter if they didn't have the parts that stick down from what looks like the natural headlight lines.

This piece rests on top of the existing bodywork, it does not replace anything.

Take a look and judge for yourself... here are shots with and without the headlamp cover installed. See the file names:

headlamp_cover_installed = with cover installed
headlamp_cover_no_cover = without cover installed
headlamp_cover_lights = front view

Yeah, looks like it blocks the light a little bit, almost looks like everything outside the main beam was darker. Were those stock headlights?
