It might be the continuum transfunctioner.

No, but seriously it might be your battery, because mine did that too. I had to jump it, rode for 40 minutes, and the battery was still dead when I went to start it back up

It is possible that the mix is less than ideal.

When hot, try starting with the throttle half opened and no choke.

As soon as the engine fires, close the throttle to avoid over-revving it.

Try also pouring some Seafoam into the gas tank for cleaning the carb's jets.

nope just have the bike turned on and have the choke on too. If you get the engine moving it'll keep going

jiggles, let the bike-pushing pro handle that video.

Yas, don't listen to jiggles. you dont need the choke when its warmed up already and the choke will make it too rich to start.

It seems that the main problem has been trying to start up a warm engine with the choke.

Try what I explained only if no-choke starting of the warm or hot engine is difficult.

Not really bad for the engine if you prevent rpms' from going much higher than 3,000.

Other than for cold start ups', choke is bad for the engine; so, use it frugally.

I'm having a very hard time understanding why so many people have starting/running issues with these bikes. I only use my choke when the engine is stone cold (usually only at the start of the day) to get the bike to fire. I usually turn it off immediately, but keep it revved up as I'm taking off (I keep it under 8k when it's cold) and it runs great. I'll have to loop around my block because it's a one way road, but by the time I get to the highway which brings me to work/wherever I want to go it's only 1/10th of a mile away. By that point my bike has run enough to not idle perfectly, usually about 1000-1100 RPMs, but it won't die either. If I go about a mile or two up the road the bike settles down to a nice 1400 RPM idle. Starting after it's warmed usually requires no throttle if the engine is very hot. If it has sat a bit I hold the throttle open ever so slightly. I've never had any troubles getting my bike to start. Adjust your mixture screws people! 3 turns out!
