removing gas tank - petcock question
is there an off switch near the petcock all i see is on and prime
how do u keep gas from comming out .. |

The petcock is vacuum operated. It should not pour fuel once disconnected. It may leak a bit so be prepared for that but as long as it is functioning correctly... it will NOT continue to flow fuel.

Leave it at ON. Turning it to PRIME will allow fuel to flow, even if the engine is off/disconnected.

But I did miss that detail. The petcock should be in the "ON" position. Prime will flow all the time. Thanks Alex!
