Man that looks great! Might be something I have to consider for my own 250! Mine needs a bit more work though, my 'sub-frame' is tweaked a good bit.

Did you have previous glassing experience prior to this project?

For those who are wondering how to make a cafe racer seat from scratch. Here is a good tutorial. Almost exactly how mine was made.

I been watching the build. From the pix it absolutely could NOT BE ANY BETTER but I gotta add my 2 cents....with all respect...a tiny bit of gold ( maybe a pinstripe at bottom of tank) ON A GREEN SURFACE would bring it back to the 1960's look.) This bike def bvelongs on the cover oF A MAGAZINE...just out of curiousity....is the mold for the tail still usueable.

Thank you. Gold stripe would not look bad. Thank you for any suggestions. I'll look into that. Sadly the mold didn't make it.

Oh dang I dont think Ive been there actually. I dont know if you guys have one of our paint booths. I work at AFC finishing systems in Oroville. I service a lot of the paint booths in Chico.

Welp I think the next bike night is the 7th at Krispy Cream! If youre still in Chico you gotta come man! Its always nice to see something different. Mostly just spot bikes there.

We have a spraybake booth. If I have the bike all done and where I like it I'll try and make it by the seventh.

I love checking back on your progress. Your bike is turning into quite the masterpiece. When will you get the sides in/done? I'm curious to see what it looks like dressed with how sexy it is nekkid. Awesome job!
