im sure she broke her hand and arm at least. getting side swiped by a truck at a combined 60mph isn't going to feel good

It's a scooter why would you need any gear at all? They are as safe as sleeping under the bed. If she fell asleep on a motorcycle she would have been killed instantly.

What's amazing in a lot of these crash vids are the people trying to "help". Let's lift e person up under the shoulders who could have just experienced a traumatic head and/or spine injury.
