Knox Gloves on Sale at STG

Just a heads up to everyone. STG is clearing all their Knox Gloves for pretty cheap.

Picked up a set of Handroids for $170.

They won't last long.

Cheers!

If this was a month ago I would totally jumped onto the Handroid ship.
But I already went 5 steps ahead and bought the Alpinestars GP Tech 2013 gloves. blah.

Those are some top notch gloves. Nothing blah about the GP Tech. You made a good choice.

I got the email about the closeout on the Knox gloves this morning. Definitely some good deals.

Oh I know, I wasn't knocking them at all! I love them! I was just saying that instead of the Handroid, I wanted something better so I got the GP Tech, but I wouldve been okay with $170 handroids too hahah.

You got the small A*'s... Mind measuring your hands for me before I order mine. I may need mediums, but I'd hate to have to ship my gloves back.

Something abou a glove that's name sounds like hemroid makes me not want nothing to do with them.

LOL

And sure as for my hand size, they're about an 8. The GP Tech fits more American than other A* gloves. My gloves have a little bit of room in the fingers, but from reading the A* manual, they're supposed to in order to prevent you hands from bursting through the seams in the event of a crash.

That's good to know... The smalls I'm wearing make my thumbs hurt! Normally I like tight gloves with no floppy fingers. I hate putting nuts or boots on with my gloves getin caught up. Thanks

Haha Handroid... No thanks

you just don't want to say that you wear size small gloves
more seriously though there isn't too much wrong with wearing a size up, I have a pair of gloves that fits snug and another that fits a little loose and the advantage of the loose ones is that they go over my heated gloves perfectly. Plus they don't get slight stretch wear on the seams, They're not coming apart yet but I can tell that the seams are weakening a bit on my scorpion gloves, not that it matters since those are perforated anyway and it's icy out.

Ah hell, had to buy new gloves. I mean, a deal like that, I'm practically earning money, right?

My first Handroids. I'm excited.

Wait wait wait wait. You would rather spend $180, on a backpack, instead of gloves that are meant to keep your hands from breaking violently and ripping apart on asphalt?

Edit/P.S: $170 for quality protective gloves is a GOOD deal, handroid or otherwise. My A* GP Tech's cost $300. Worth every penny.

Yup, Sykes wins the thread. I like my hands a lot. It would be strange to be okay with with spending that kind of money on protecting all my other body parts, but not my hands. They're important, fragile, and relatively difficult to protect (lots of opportunity for ripping, torquing, twisting, you get the idea).

Luckily at the beginning of last year I had 1 full set of head to toe gear of 'good' quality.

I'm now upgrading one piece at a time with something of 'Great' quality.

These handroids will replace a $50 set of leather gauntlets that I bought 3 years ago. They were nice gloves, but I can definitely say I'm glad I never had to test them.

I assume you want a Kriega first to carry all your future gloves.
