Just curious how insurance handles it...

Since the guy at fault fled the scene, is insurance taking your word for it that somebody violated your right-of-way? Or is this considered your fault?

Not entirely sure yet. I'm waiting to hear back from my insurance company. They towed my bike away.

I'm going to go ahead and assume that they're going to take my word for it, considering I got a police report and what not. Not sure though.

I hate reading these things. I hate when the driver takes off. There was another post I read yesterday where the stupid driver also took off.. stupid drivers! Should invest in a camera. I have a drift HD camera and catch stupid drivers all the time.. I would go crazy if someone hit me and took off... Glad you're okay

Also have Progressive. Lowsided back in April and they deemed it a total loss. Bike was a 2012 and I think the check was for $4200-ish

Front fairing and gauges were pushed in, broken shift pedal, and a few scratches. Frame sliders saved the left fairing from any damage. Honestly, had I not been a n00b I think I could have fixed it myself with some help lol.

I dunno if I'm going to get another Ninja. Definitely not going to get another bike this season, gonna wait till next season, save up, and get something nice.

I honestly think the pregens are horrid. I'd rather just save and get something I want.

Sorry to hear about this! I have to go through a roundabout to get out of my sub division and cars try to enter it like its a race. I usually don't go faster than 10-12mph through it and if there is any car that seems like its in a race I'll let it enter before me.

Yeah, where I live they are literally everywhere. Like, 7 or 8 within 5 minutes of my house.
