Got my set yesterday and was wondering if this would be a problem.

3 of the 4 bolts are 23 mm (correct size) and one is 25mm. Is there a particular cylinder or caliper that I should put the longer one on? Or should I get the correct length bolt.? I am worried about it bottoming out.

Thanks

Edit: Nevermind - Just realized that I could use an old bolt.

Looks like we have 3 people interested... 8 if @102dalz has everyone in his family buy a set.

We would need 20+ if this is still available/happening.

Starting another GROUP BUY for APEX SS Brake Lines

I've spoke to Raymond @ Apex and he is all for another 'group buy'. I'm trying to get another group together and get the ball rolling here for anyone who may be still interested (or missed the 1st buy) in buying a set of APEX SS Brake Lines. All the details are on the 1st page... all we need is 20+ to get the set at $40 (+shipping).

So far we have:

1) @deeno415
2) @102dalz
3) @Kstorm21

Let me know if you are interested...

Sorry, be busy lately. Yes, Raymond is up for another group buy, same prices and amounts as this first one. I'm going to make another thread for it as not to get things mixed up. Also will let it run longer so more people get a chance to get in on it.

I bought a set outside of the group buy for my 2006 and the rear seems too long. Can anyone with a pregen that bought these have the same issue?

Thx

Hey Gregg (@gp55445),

The front brake line is the longer of the 2 in the set measuring at 29.5". The rear line should measure 19.5". Anything longer than that would be too long...

Hope that helps!

Yeah... they sent you the set for a newgen 250. The newgen lines are 30.5" (front) & 21" (rear).

My rear line was a little long as well. I let the line rest on top of the wheel spacer. I havn't seen any rubbing or wear after over 1,000 miles since install but you could wrap that section with larger diameter rubber or silicon tubing to be extra safe.
