Proud new 250 owner!
We just picked up this 2009 250 for my wife a matter of hours ago, and she got her first ride on it. I managed to snap a few pics. It had 930 miles on it and was in as-new condition, and we scored it for $2076 (and no sales tax in MT!). We are more than pleased, to say the least.
She had a 2001 250 a few years ago, then rode a GS500 for 2 seasons, then stepped up to my SV650. She never felt comfortable on the SV, as the bike is a little too tall for her and it is also kind of top heavy. Honestly, I think she was tense riding it and it really took away from her experience, to the point where she was unsure if she wanted to continue riding. All that is gone now- she is ecstatic about this new machine and says she feels right at home on it! I won't lie, I took a little rip on it myself and couldn't wipe the smile off my face  Here is her champion pose:  Can you tell she LOVES this bike already?  have your wife join us here on ninjette, too. There are many females on the board that can empathize with the growing pains she's had in he riding career and I'm sure she would feel at home here becoming a better rider by sharing her concerns. We as riders all need to become masters of our own ships and not relegated to being a crew member aboard another. ride on.

We were looking for green so our bikes would match, but unfortunately we couldn't pass this one up at the price. Blue was her second color choice. The only green bike we found was a few hours away, had double the mileage, and was $2800.
Supposed to be 73 deg and sunny tomorrow, so I should be able to get some more pics and possibly some video for you guys. |

YES I AM! And she has nothing to hide, she's just a little shy. I was going to lighten the pic up some, but was too lazy. She just didn't want me posting 5MP pictures from the sunny side- I am not great at using the SLR cam yet, and they are waaaay overbright from the full sun on her light skin!
Don't worry, I will slowly convince her to let me post better pics. A color-matched bikini would help to get her in the mood .

Mrs. Rwheelz is a strong-willed/empowered career woman, not one of these self-righteous "bikini-clad-gals-on-cars-and-bikes-objectifies-women" types (not to offend anyone, to each their own!). I told her a little ogling is good for her ego . I am very respectful, I obtain permission to post such a photo.And BlackWidow- your avatar pic is tiny, but you are welcome to come to the Matthews Estate for a dual bikini-matching Ninjette photo-shoot any time  . Couldn't have asked for more perfect riding weather yesterday. Took some pics and will post them soon! Today is supposed to be hot (upper 80s) with great weather for the next week, so we will definitely be taking advantage of that.
