long rides on 250r

has anyone done a 1000 mile ride on 250r -i am thinking of taking it on vacation -other riders are on bigger bikes but slow riders-i tried search but came up with nothing-that's a long time with engine pinned-doing a lot of backroads also

There have been a few riders that have used the ninjette for the Iron Butt Challenge events. Saw one for I think 1000 miles in one day and another for coast to coast in 50hrs. I believe they were the pregens but same basic idea engine wise. The bike will just fine as long it's been well maintained and you prepare before you go.

If the bike is sound maintenance wise you should be fine, I have done 400-500 mile days on mine with no issues at all. I have a new gen one but i doubt it makes a difference. As a tip, get a seat pad lol.

longest trip i've taken on the 250 was about 850 miles, but i had to stop a couple times for gas so it wasn't "straight through" as you might say... didn't have a single issue outside of cold weather.
