I don't care if Queen Latifah wins on a Norton, I'm just glad the season is starting!

Hayden qualified 5th right behind Ben. Ever notice that Nicky talks funny. Sounds like he is from Kentucky or some other southern part of the country.

Moto GP is all about safety. There was a doctor riding mid pack on a Ducati.

Sucks for Ben, apparently the bike was damn near unrideable due to chatter after the qualifying down. Hope to see much better from him in Jerez. Hats off to Lorenzo for keeping his head, Casey better get his fitness in shape for the rest of the season if they can't sort the front end issues contributing to the arm pump.

Just watched the Moto2 race on SpeedTV. Quite a finish! Now time for a newb question: Why don't they show the race live? Are they ever live?

The Moto2 race was excellent with the sprint to the finish and the race was LIVE on SUNDAY at 2PM for Moto2 and 3 for MotoGP.

They broadcast many/most of them live, including this one. The race was at night in Qatar, so it made for daytime viewing hours here in the US on Sunday. The GP race is typically at 2 PM, so for European races that means 5 AM Pacific / 8 AM Eastern.
