Over Seas Bike Colors

I was just looking through the UK Kawasaki page and noticed they have a bunch of different colors for the same bikes that we get.

I wonder why Kawasaki does this?

I really want a Versys in Pearl Wildfire Orange. Hopefully they bring it here next year.

Some other interesting color/bike combinations are:

Pearl Stardust White ZX-10

Pearl Stardust White, Candy Burnt Orange, and Metallic Diablo Black ER-6n
(They have a flash site for this)

I know it is more expensive to bring all these colors here, but it would be nice to have the options.

Oh and you can get the Versys with ABS over there.

Strictly market research. Americans tend to be kind of reserved. The other issue is visibility on our particular type of roads. You notice how a lot of sportbikes are bright colors not seen in nature? Makes them more visible. Also makes them ugly.

Yeah, same in Austria, and as far as I know, everywhere else in Europe. Green, Black, or the tri-colored Special Edition. No blue or red Ninja 250Rs over here.

The orange gives it a mean apearance.

It can go the other way as well: in 2008 the 250r was brought into Canada in only green, red, or black. You guys in the States got blue while we didn't.

At one point I thought we had orange as an option for the zx6r? White should definitely be included though. Always looks amazing!

Yeah, hawt damn that ZX-10 is awesome.
White bikes turn me on.

Oh hey, I own a white bike.... hrmmmm....... sorry where was I again?

ahem

Even just between Canada and the States I find there are often vastly different colour options for some bikes.

Ben, I have a sister who lives in Vienna. She used to ride a Jawa. Most of my relatives live in Venna
