Completely true! It's not so much that someone rides a motorcycle it's the confidence in which they handle his/her-self. When someone has been riding, they gain confidence in themselves that is exuded to observers. Shoulders back, head high, etc.

Think of it in animalistic terms: alpha males attract the females for breeding. Most of the time (obviously not all the time) the confident members are the alphas, or at least betas. Note that there is a difference between confidence and cockiness!

Motorcycling is a passion, not just a love. Many women can get jealous of the passion that is imbued into motorcycles and not into them, bred from insecurity. Truth. I was on my way to lunch with some co-workers a litle over a year ago. All three of them were women. We were all chatting, and then all of a sudden I'm like, "Hello!" Funny story, last year I was a passenger a lot on my fiance's bike and one day we just got off and parked. So a car was pulling up (I was hidden behind a vehicle parked in front us) and all you hear is a girl saying "Can I getta ride" She was mortified as she pulled closer and saw me with my helmet too.

What's kind of pathetic is she didn't even see my fiance's face or anything as he was just about to pull of his helmet. Some women are just into men and their toys I guess.

I appreciate people on bikes but that's as far as it goes.

Not around here as far as i know. Unless you're riding a bicycle that looks like it's from 50's with your hipster outfit, girls pretty much ignore the whole badass motorcycle type here (Venice Beach, Santa Monica, etc. ) as far as I can tell.. Not that I ride on the street.
