I am trying to pay homage to this:



It would be awesome if you could help me visualize it. Basically, I can't decide which way to go with the stripe and how to represent the banded fin flaps.

I have an '08 CP Blue bike with matching rims and chain and I intend to add a Sportisi hugger (original style), Sportisi undertail, OEM solo cowl, removed passenger pegs, and go matte black with the exhaust.

Here's what I think I want so far:
I want the "BLUE FALCON" text at the bottom where kkim has his ninjette.org banner.

I want an "07" on the front fender and in the area in front of the V-shaped fairing cuts on both sides.

I want to add mesh on the fairing cuts with, perhaps, colored skateboard wheels to look like the cylinders at the Blue Falcon's intakes--yes, despite facing to the side.

I want to keep the Ninja and Kawasaki logos.

I'm also going to experiment with black vinyl bits to see if I can make the windscreen look a little angular and segmented.

Here's what I need help with to decide (help me visualize, plzkthx!):

I can't decide if I want the stripe to go along the area toward the tank like your gunmetal gray stripe on Raven, in the recess behind the V-shaped fairing cuts on both sides (yeah, not much of a "stripe"), or extended from there along the line that continues onto the side covers

I can't decide if I want to just make red/white "number plates" on the rear for the banded fin flaps (viewed from top-down, split into one red and white stripe on either side) or if I want red-white-red bands in the side facing area just under and behind the rider seat.

I'd love to see a few of those options if you don't mind. Oh! And if you have any suggestions, please suggest. I'm terrible at visualizing and you may have a much better idea than I do!

Thank you very much! The others look great too... I never thought about styling the tank like the cockpit.

Even if it'll be kinda short to call it a "stripe" and there will be two (one on each side), I think I'm going to go with just the area behind the V-shaped fairing cuts without extending onto the side panels so I can minimize the tapering look, considering that the Blue Falcon's stripe stays one thickness all the way around.

Visualizing the number plates on the tail helps a lot too. Thanks!

Ok Vince, You are the man for doing this! Add me to your list. I would like to see an all white (including seat w/ white or gold rims but the frame is still black) with red, green, and gold. My race bike is named "Tequila Speed" and I'm looking for a paint scheme. Use that great creativity you have but make it something I can do. YOU ROCK!

Agreed, Trevor. Whenever I answer a survey about the 250, I ask for white as a primary color, along with some kind of light charcoal, and a vibrant yellow or orange. That orange definitely looks good.

lol sorry being clear isnt always my strong point start with a red bike leave the black plastics black and add in the same pink accents as u have in the above black and pink one

or get creative and do what u think looks best

thanks a lot vince i didnt think it would be a good combo but short of running one off it was hard to say without seeing it the wife loves the whole bad betty thing she has the tankpad and am getting her this helmet for xmas

I posted a good picture of her on the picture game and got to thinking of you! I would like some more pink on the side fairings, where the V meets, you know in the recessed part. and then on the bottom part again where the indent part is. Im not sure if some in the tail area is to much or if it would tie it all in. Would love if you could help me out! have always wanted ribbons but not sure if that would just look like flames and I don't want that. It also has to be simple enough for me to do myself. Thanks
