carb hose assembly: where's this hose go?

Hi,

sorry it's me again, another question on this journey to get this bike back to running. I have all the other hoses right but this one.

problem: where does this overflow hose go? (the idle adjust bracket holds it)

my picture:

online picture: grey tube by the idle adjust knob

apologies, my garage is a mess and the tank is to the side while I configure the carb sync (pending issues with that, still figuring it out) Thank you so much for this forum while I learn from this bike.

Reference: carb photos, but this one isn't on there

Don't be sorry Pika! Lots of members here love to help! Someone will pipe up soon with the answer.
How are you planing to sync your carbs? Vacuum or on the bench adjustment?

thanks man. this community is awesome. I plan to have an after-right up when i'm done with ALL my lessons learned.

a friend (who volunteered to help online, bless online forums) has a sync tool so we did it that way but the left carb was on vacuum so still messing with that. i re-wired the hoses as per pics so going to try again today.

I'm probably reading that wrong but where I was going is to suggest the carb sync can be done best on the bench as so eloquently described by (l believe) ghost and ducatiman
