[motorcycle.com] - Harley-Davidson Announces Four Jackets with Thermal Reflective Tec

Just in time for winter, Harley-Davidson MotorClothes has announce a pair of men’s and a pair of women’s jackets featuring Thermal Reflective Technology. Designed to reflect and retain the body’s natural heat, Thermal Reflective Technology helps maintain core body temperature. Previously utilized in high-performance outdoor gear, the body’s warmth is contained without the bulk of older cold weather gear.

Women

Women riders will appreciate the styling of the Ava RCS Leather Jacket. Constructed of lightweight cowhide leather, the jacket has pre-curved sleeves and “power-stretch” waist and back. The Thermal Reflective Technology is contained in a zip-out lining while warm weather cooling is offered via four zippered vents. Accessory armor for the elbows, shoulders and back is available. Reflective Scotchlite helps with nighttime visibility. Available at Harley dealerships and online in women’s XS – 3W and Tall sizes in black, starting at $450.

If textile jackets are more your speed, the Ava RCS Functional Jacket offers impressive features starting at $250. The waterproof 600 denier nylon jacket uses a zip-out Thermal Reflective Technology liner for cool weather. The liner’s polyester-spandex sides and inset cuffs with thumb holes to prevent air from blowing into the sleeves, improving rider comfort. Both fit and comfort are addressed by the power-stretch back and elastic waist. Now available at your local Harley dealer and online in black with pink accents the Functional Jacket includes sizes XS – 3W and Tall sizes.

Men

The Highland Functional Jacket with Leather Accents combines the best of both a textile and leather jacket. The waterproof jacket isn constructed of 600 denier polyester while the shoulders and other sections receive black leather. This gray/black jacket has adjustable waist tabs and snap sleeve tabs for a personal fit. Summer cooling is provided by zippered front and back vents. Cool weather comfort comes courtesy of a zip-out lining that features Thermal Reflective Technology to direct core body heat back at the rider. Look for it in sizes S – 5XL and Tall at your local Harley dealer or online, starting at $350.

Cool winds don’t stand a chance against the Windproof Fleece Jacket. The water-resistant, 100 percent polyester fleece jacket holds the wind at bay while using Thermal Reflective Technology to direct your body heat back at you. For ease of movement, the underarms and side panels are spandex. A nylon hood conveniently tucks away inside the zippered collar. The three zippered pockets increase the carrying capacity of this handy jacket. Pick up one at your local Harley dealer in S – 5XL and Tall sizes, starting at $110.
