EFI kits - ecotrons or other
Is there any other dedicated place where I could search for used kits to buy besides here? Are there any group buys being organized besides getting a used kit?
I'm getting real tired of my carbs acting up and I want to switch over |

If you search for "ecotrons", there are a number of threads of folks that have made the switch. Some have had very good results and are happy with the setup. But none of them seem to have shared that it becomes a no-effort/low-effort setup afterwards, either; it's just a different one.

So I googled it, looked at the website, which is messy btw..
Are these an EFI kit to convert carburated engines? if so, people have good luck with these on the Ninja 250's? NM, found it. Yep. Looks like a good kit... but at $1000, I think I'd rather just buy an older 08+ and rip the parts off of it. |

Personally I would go with a Microsquirt kit. Costs less, more adjustable & programmable. Also ability to add options like auto-tune with wideband-feedback, multiple igntion-maps for different octane fuel, knock-sending, electronic boost-control, etc.
