The Wave

Who do you give "the wave" to when you are out riding?

I have been thinking about this for a while, because we all know that some Harley/cruiser/chopper riders will refuse to give the wave to sport bike riders.

I, personally, wave (or nod if I cant wave) at every motorcycle I come by. I have even waved at moped riders. To me, we are all on two wheels, regardless of what kind of a bike we are on.
But I know some sport bike riders will only wave at other sport bike riders.

Do you guys wave or nod at everyone? Just sport bike riders? Everyone but mopeds?

Some guys on the palisades pkwy going southbound waved at me. I normally don't wave on the highway when there is a median so I wasn't really expecting it.

I looked over, waved back. And almost proceeded to rear end a Camry that went from 70MPH to 20MPH because of slow moving traffic.

Stupid wave.

There's several other threads all asking the wave question:

Here's the one I remember- Unregistered, Y U No Wave?

And the more recent Waving Experiment

They think they're all that and a bag of chips. Mopeds are my preferred choice of wave.

I wave to everyone. I took a trip out to Bodega Bay a couple of weeks ago and surprisingly about 99% of Harley and cruiser riders waved back. Pretty rare in my experience.
