Naked!!

Image014.jpg
This is my '04 all in black hehe! I've got woodcraft clipons, 5 3/4" H-4 headlight, after market speedo, red wheel tape, led tail light, dyno jet kit, foam air filter pods, pirelli sport demons, debaffled cans, zip-tie throttle mod, bar end mirrors, oh yeah and a home made coolant resevour that looks like a pipe bomb . It's a work in progress but ive always liked the street fighter/cafe racer look, so this is the result. What do ya think?

I dig it. It looks like its got attitude. Come to think of it, it sort of looks like an old Duc monster.

I really like it. You've cleaned it up good. I'd Bondo the tank smooth where the fairing used to go.

i gotta admit that the monster inspired me a lot to do this. i like the way you cant really see anything in front of you but the front tire and the road. as far as handling, of course a lot more wind, but its all good. the clipons is a furhter strech than i had imagined it to be, but i like it a lot and it makes it more fun to ride for me. even at 5'7" with the clipons am a lil close to my knees, so hopefully soon ill be able to get woodcraft's rearset. i think it moves the controls and pegs back 3" and up 1" if im not mistaken. thanks for all your input, im pretty proud of it and how it turned out

Very good looking streetfighter conversion! Would love to see more pics, esp of that 'home made' coolant reservoir. Saw one made out of a converted Red Bull can not too long ago that made me do a double-take.

It's also HARD not to get inspired by ANY Ducati, the Monster Especially if your going for this type of bike. You did a great job! Best Naked 250 I have seen so far!

I stopped back in to look at it again. I was telling my brother about it lastnight. I'm trying to talk him into it, he has on '07.

I have to agree with Jeff. Its the best naked 250 I have seen.
