alternative oil filter?
Since the 3 honey uses a spin on has anyone found an automotive filter that fits? I would have searched but the 250 did not use this type filter so I doubt the topic has come up.

Using this thread to say that I updated a few errors on the Wiki. The wrong models were listed for the Amsoil and K&N filters (possibly others, I didn't check).
The Amsoil filter that was listed (SMF103) doesn't even seem to exist anymore. They've been replaced with the EaOM series (new model is EAOM103). The K&N model listed was KN-204, but the correct model matching the cross-reference is KN-303. The only difference seems to be the height of the canister though. |

Thanks for the info. I used the purolater that was listed and it works great. adds about .2 quart of oil capacity as well.
