What a waste of time and money

Check out this Ninja that sold on eBay :
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=290728711018

You could get an electric bike or scooter that would outperform that easily and for less than half the price. I'd also be afraid to lean it over in a corner.
He probably sold it real quick after doing all that work because it turned out like crap.
And what about the idiot who bought that?

There is an electric class in land speed racing . It is called Omega . That would be a lot of fun for me to run . I will give him 500 bucks for it.

It's a good effort IMHO... No doubt, it's not perfect, but it isn't that bad either... If I could, I'd build an electric chopper.

The Ohio State University just went 144.352 mph last month. I think that is the fastest one.

Interesting. Hideous, under performing and far too expensive. I still applaud the owner for such an undertaking and being satisfied with the results. I'd like to see him progress it further.

Cool idea, I like the electric bike thing, but a terrible waste of a clean & clear ninja. Should only be done to a bike with a reconstructed title. And the battery rack looks horrible. The other bikes I have seen looked better, I think they should have tried to work the front fairing on it with some air cooling ductwork. Oh, and he could have at least included a fender eliminator.

Juicey looking ride. I wonder if it can be used as a stun gun also.

he should have used lithium batteries to eliminate the rack, and gain performance.

i suspect the weight of the lead batteries effects handling and mileage.
