Riding Nekkid

hey all i got to go home (from school) today...its an hour trip one way...but my car is a little broke down at the moment...so my question...currently the bike has the front fairings off in order to get ready for some carb work....do you think it would be ok to take it instead? would normal road wear damage the underbits?

The only problem I see is you won't have front turn signals. Road wear won't damage anything.

Make sure you tighten down any nuts, bolts, or screws that you loosen and leave in brackets. I forgot one time and lost a bunch of fairing screws on my old F2 when I was running it around naked. I even zip-tied aftermarket sealed beam headlights to the fairing stay. It was pretty scary looking.
