180 tyre warmers?

had a quick search but couldnt find too much. i want to get some tyre warmers for my 250 but would prefer to get ones i can still use when i get a 600 tracky.

how well would 180 rear warmers work on a 140 rear tyre? ive heard they have a bit of over hang but still do the job without a hassle.

anyone had any experience with them?

cheers

I've borrowed 180-195 tire warmers for my 140 and they worked. I own 150-165 size warmers and have used them on my 140 and 195 rear tires.

The smaller warmers on larger tires don't overhang the wheel much so you will get less heat into the wheel.

The larger warmers on smaller wheels do bunch a little and are a little more difficult to get on and off.

If it were me I would get the smaller warmers (I did). The main reason is that if the warmer gets bunched up in any one spot it can overheat burning the warmer and/or the tire. Unless you are mostly using big tires and are only occasionally use them on small tires.
