Exclamation clunky while shifting heard?! advice please?

I have a 09 ninja 250, with about 10000 miles, I've noticed a clunky sound while letting of the clutch an switching gears, only at lower rpms(2-5000rpm) then it seems fine or mabye the engine noise drowns it out. So, is my transmission clunky or is it something else on the bike, any advice would be great

Thanks
Critter

How's your chain tension and your rear sprocket/cush drive play?

I've put about 3k miles on bike since I've had it, it's my first bike so not much experience, but now thinking about it, spocket/chain are prob. The factors not my Trans.

The you know how to switch gears.

Yes, that wheel cushion play may make things worse.

It could be your oil as well, either getting a low level or affecting the clutch or getting contaminated with fuel.
