----------------- The show returns to Silverstone after a bit of a break and it was no surprise to see one of the veterans of the lightweight class leading the way, with Romano Fenati holding onto a six tenths advantage for most of the session. The Gresini duo of Jeremy Alcoba and Gabriel Rodrigo were his closest challengers in the chilly conditions, while*Ayumu Sasaki and Pedro Acosta were the final riders to post a time within a second of the leader, with the championship leader also the quickest rookie on his first trip to Silverstone.
