Corny ad, but the bike looks nice.
I think a lot of the Japanese sports bikes are built in China/Taiwan. I imagine it would be hard to compete with them if you want to make it in the USA. I guess you save on shipping, but I'd be suprised if that made up the difference.

its a gt650 motor with a copied harley vr1000 gp frame dressed in supersport garb. they should have gone with a better motor if they wanted to sell them

Yeah, everywhere on the net people were complaining about the Korean motor (Can't really blame them). Some were saying a polaris motor would of made this bike a more success.
