As for these Chinese places, the key thing you want to look for is "injection molded" otherwise it'll probably be crap. Also with the Chinese places, they're known to have some fitment issues, in regards to the holes not aligning properly, but it's a fairly minor issue as people have usually been able to slightly expand the holes and get it to fit.

If you want a full set, then you can also check out www.extremefairings.com
People on the CBR forum have had pretty good results from them, and they'll customize the fairings however you want.

Yeah both my left and right fairings are pretty much goners.

I think someone backed into it in a parking garage at school but I have no clue honestly.

The left fairing has a 3 1/2" chip taken out of it near the turn signal and the right side basically busted itself all to hell (looks like this is the side it fell on when it tipped over.)

Judging from some of the pricing I've done I think it may be a bit more cost effective to get a whole set so that I have spares if something happens to anything else.

So get this.... walking outside from work today, I watched someone pull out of their spot and hit my car. This is a cursed place to work, and there is literally no where else to park (thanks a lot, Boston). I got her plate number, but she drove off. Better the car than the bike this time though, she hit it pretty hard. I have absolutely terrible luck...

That is crazy
I am glad you got her tags this time. If your karma is good maybe she is the one who took out your bike, but I doubt it.

She was driving a rental because.... she crashed her car. Good driver ftw.
Odds are she's not the one who hit my bike, but I did find out that my bike did some damage to a Camaro next to it when it went down. I think the handlebar scraped down the door...
I'm not being held responsible, but now they are looking more closely for the person who tipped it over. Hopefully I can finally get some answers!

Are they saying some one hit it? I ask as I know a few new riders who think some one pushed bike over turns out the ground got to hot and the kick stand dug in making the bike fall some one passing by is nice picks it up and so it looks like some one hit it.

I guarantee that asphalt in Boston during April won't get hot enough for a bike to fall over. In the middle of August? Perhaps. But definitely not during early April.

Best of luck! Hope they actually "look" this time...
