Met someone pretty cool today

So while waiting tables at the Champps here in the Indy airport, I had a pretty neat encounter with someone who I'm sure most of you will recognize. The "Motorcycle Dealer Expo" was in town this weekend, so I got to meet a bunch of people from various realms within the moto world. But the coolest part was when I got to meet Jason Britton and his wife(?).

They were incredibly cool, and seemed responsive to me asking what I'm sure were cliche questions. But I did ask him out of all of his bikes, what did he think was the most fun. His answer was "Defiantly the ZX-6R. I can ride that thing on rails. But then again, the new 10R is pretty sweet, but I can't ride it on the street haha". I then told him I just got a 250 recently, and he responded with "You were smart for making a logical decision with your first bike. People don't realize the 600s today are every bit as fast as the liter bikes from ten years ago. So you gotta start small and work your way up."

All it all, it was pretty neat meeting him.

By the way, the whole time he was there I was thinking, "I can't wait to post this on Ninjette!"

I got a poster of him autographed at the motorcycle show when it was in Cleveland last year but didn't really get to say much other than "uuuuuhhhh hiMr.BrittonI'mahugefanmynameisChris" Seems like a nice guy to me.
