Harris Hill - San Marcos, Tx
For those of you in the Central Texas area, I'd like to let you know that Harris Hill has just done some resurfacing on the track. We did a track day out there Sunday (March 19), and the track is much smoother in critical areas and was really nice to ride and quicker as well.
If you complained about the character (err...bumps) previously, I'd recommend you give it another shot. Sharky_nrk.. come down and play sometime :-) |

And for those that demand a World Class track, there is always COTA which is only another 25 miles further up the road, but it does cost quite a bit more

I need to make it out there something fierce. Life has been so stinkin busy and stressful I have not been on track yet this year at all - kart or big track. That's gotta change cause I am going to lose it lol. I did see the resurface stuff on the FB page and it made me want to go even more.
My little brother had a HUGE high side wreck his last race at NOLA and is really busted up and out of commission for months (I normally schedule a couple days that we go ride together) so I may have to try and hit up an H2R day here soon.

I'm usually there on any of the Saturday or Sunday track days and I'll occasionally take off work for a Monday session. Let me know if you head out there, it will be good to see you. |
