Old & cheap!?

Well at least old. I just swapped my '02 Futura for a '15 300-Aprilia was getting too heavy for 71yo. Have an '02 250 that already has ZX600 shock and good springs+emulators. The 300 already got the GSXR shock bought for 250 so now I'd like to do fork too. As I'm on retiree budget am thinking about putting 250 back to stock dampers and using the 250's emulators plus better springs to upgrade 300. The 250 will be used primarily for vacation-hauled on rv rack(no I'm not rich w diesel pusher, have '86 mini W). Just a thought-don't even know if emulators are right size. Absolutely love the 300 just need suspension mods and more padding for my bony arse. Thanks, GJ PS maybe put 300 springs in 250?

What springs did you end up going with?

DONE!!

I put new springs and emulators in. Will be trying different rear spring as I had grafted a sv650 spring on gsxr shock. After more thought it would seem stiffer than stock gsxr. I have a 2nd shock to put on so we'll see. My shop has been busy w restoring trackdrive blower (big snow coming overnight) and carb work on 250. Only 3-4 months until ride season starts!
