Poor cowl fitment?

The fitment of my cowl seems to be getting worse, particularly at the back. Had to stop today because my O/H said it was starting to rise up.

I'm sure there used to be a thread around which told you what adjustments you could make to improve the fitment?

Plenty of threads about cowl attachment around. I used velcro tape on the back of mine and it doesn't move up & down at all.

I remember a post about adjusting the lock or the rubber bung? I still can't find it.

At the moment I have wrapped electrical tape around the peg which goes into the rubber bung. Seems to be helping.

Somebody should rig up a strong magnet attachement for the rear instead of that rubber o-ring.

They made the peg on the back way too short. I've had it pop loose many times when I went over a bump. The magnets sound like good ideas.
