Lightbulb Plastic welding for cracked fairing???

Hey Guys just want an opinion on something. There's a shop out here in the Bay Area (located in Fremont, CA) called Pina's Auto Kolor. They're currently painting my rims for me. I told them about my cracked fairing (pics below) and they're saying they can repair it for me for $50. They would use putty and other materials to attach it together, sand it out, then paint it. They're claiming that it will look as if there was no damage in the first place. I then wanted to install flush mount signals. What do you guys think? Has anyone had their fairing welded before? I would buy a new fairing, but can't find anything thats uncracked at a decent price. Any suggestions would help, Thank you!!

the only thing that im wondering is why its so cheap. I have a very similar problem (not quite as bad) but its around the right turn signal, ive checked around..4-5 places all over $100++ for the repair, that includes everything that you've mentioned.

That's a screaming deal. Are you sure that includes painting? Color-matched to a non-OEM color, no less!

Fantastic price, bordering on unbelievable it's so good. I'd go for it without a second thought. You can always work on getting a replacement fairing afterwards if this fix doesn't work out for some reason.
