2007 Mods and Fender eliminated
Here is some before and after pics of the quick project I did on my bike to remove that really ugly fender. Ended up rewiring this multiple times and finally installed some switch back lights and swapped to clear signal covers and removed the flame stickers...look I love this bike but the flame stickers were a bit much let's be real. Oh the back camera was installed during the rewiring for project I'm in last stage of troubleshooting pictures soon as well as pictures of a dash redesign I've begun. Let me know your thoughts

Hey, that's pretty cool mod! THanks for photos!
I have those empty side pods utilized as turn-signals too. But need to get clear covers and amber light-bulbs. The flashing red is just not as visible as it blends into tail-light too much. Yeah, flames are so '80s! |

Here is a link for those clear lens there only $10... actually I think Walmart online sells them to for same price... https://www.ebay.com/itm/332461200416 They have smoke color one as well as the clear but was afraid it would make the bike look a little to modern...but may check them out as well some point in time. Still trying to solve this sporadic hyper blink issue, resistors haven't seen to help may have to look at a different blinker relay. Speaking of I swap the left control switches for a used left control switch off 03 concourse, simple swap but now the bike has hazard lightsit a nice safety feature Kawasaki part number is 46091-1857 if you are interested. I'll post the dash pictures once I get that project finished...maybe a little more ambitious that my abilities lol |

I also removed my tacky flame stickers, this alone makes the bike look newer. I am on the fence about deleting fender, have you ridden in the rain without the fender and did the water and dirt spray your back? This is my commuter motorcycle so I would like to try and stay clean on my way to work.

No spray on back because license-plate serves as fender. Rooster-tail spray never aims forwards.
