CR9EIX could work in the 250r?

Hello friends, I have a question, today I went to buy some spark plugs, I told the seller that I needed the CR8EIX, but he told me that he had CR9EIX, and I was insisting he needed the CR8EIX, but he told me that the CR9EIX works the same , just that the CR9EIX spark plug "holds 1 more level of temperature than the CR8EIX" or something like that, does anyone know if that spark plug number works or the seller cheats me?
