CRG Bar End Mirrors/ Mirror Block Off?

Ive got some CRG LS Bar End Mirrors ordered and as soon as I get them put on I want to get some block off plates for the holes where the stock mirrors are.

I did a quick google search, but the only ones I came up with are polished aluminum, say EX on em and are like $60.

So, Anybody used any block off plates from other bikes or know where I can get some that don't look like butt?

Also, is there anyone here that has the CRG mirrors and has them put on to give me a little insight as to how you like them, and how they were installed? Did you have to get new bar end screws, or just back out the stock ones?

Thanks

Buy the chrome ones and paint them with Bumper Paint. It's a flat black that will look nice.

Well the more I look at them, the more i think they are for the pregens. The dont look like they have 2 screw holes, it looks like they only have one, and the new gen has a bracket under the mirror base thats also used to hold the fairings, so it need two bolts through it to be stable. Ive got a few allen head bolts in there now but it doesnt look the best so ill keep my eye out for more.

Worst case scenario, Ill get one of the metal shop guys to fabricate me a couple.

How are those CRG mirrors working out for you? I'm looking at bar end mirrors now and those are at the top of my list. Any trouble installing them?

I had a little trouble getting the barends off the bike but after i went and picked up a torch, the screws came out like butter.

I was thinking I might have to pick up some longer screws but I didn't end up needing them, just dont tighten down the throttle side too tightly or itll start pushing the mirror up against the throttle and your throttle will stock.(Ask me how I know lmao.)
