My other ride!

Well, I thought you all might like to see my other ride, the racing scooter, and the project honda. So here they are! First up is the somewhat tricked out scooter, though most of the mods are internal. I've modded the transmission, the intake, exhaust, carb, and some other minor stuff like a crankcase breather with oil catch (sponsored by mountain dew ).

And the engine compartment so you can see some of the mods

Now for the Honda. I got this from a friend of mine for free, that's right, $0.00 as a project bike. It wasn't running when I got it, but after cleaning the carbs out and a shot of starting fluid, I had it running ok, then the paperwork started to rear its ugly head. The last REGISTERED owner never signed the papers over to my friend, and has since died, so the DMV had a whole bunch of hoops for me to jump through, which I did, only to be told I now had to jump through a bunch of OTHER hoops, and that I had to contact the next of kin of the previous owner to see if any of them wanted it, etc, etc. So I haven't put any more effort into it, other than covering it and keeping it clean.

Eventually I will get around to having a titling service title it for me, but I'm in school and broke right now, so that will be a few years. *sigh*

Anyway, here IT is:

And just incase anyone cares, I'll post this next pic. I guess I am truely feminine by some people's standards I ride a 250 ninja, a scooter, and I take cool pictures of flowers.

But just to proove I'm still a guy, I'll repost this!

Yeah, that's right, I'm a 20 year old, STRAIGHT as an arrow, and I like bikes, scooters, AND flowers!

Well, I'm done ramblin' now, I've got some homework to do but wanted to try and bring some life into this place! LATER!!!

Travis

I was just thinking, there's nothing this site needs more than a couple good flower pictures.

Except maybe some tarantula pictures!

For scale...

Oh, so you want to play the "I have a tarantula in my driveway" card then, huh!?! I can one up that! We had one here stuck to out curtains a few weeks ago. O have pics, but there not on my photobucket yet because I still have dial-up and it takes forever to upload/download anything... I'll post my tarantua pics and we'll have a 'battle of the bugs' LOL! I know, I know, they're not technically 'bugs.'

Sounds like you got a little bit of a battle to fight before taking full ownership of the bike. It sucks your friend never looked into that when he first came into possesion of it. It sounds like a neat and well worth it project.

Nope. Bainbridge Quary (Scuba Diving 'lake') in Bainbridge PA. I call crawfish/Crayfish water bugs... Though to be honest I thought Shrimp look more like bugs..

I like your style. I`m partial to sunflowers---always loved Yellow--wife`s least favourite colour. My Ninja is green--whivh is OK because it is Hi-Viz.

I've never ridden a scooter before. It looks like it would feel so awkward having your feet on a flat surface when there's nothing in between your legs.

twss...
