You know you need to upgrade your ninjette when...

A woman on a vespa pulls away faster than you.

Nope, the vespa gts is faster off the mark than the ninja 250.

I am getting very tired of the lack of available power with the 250.

Do you have a full exhaust on it? A stock 250 is just too gutless to me. I remember when I got my second newgen 250 I was like man, this is all its got? Putting the 18" area p on it though really gives it the oomph it needs. And its not super loud, except for the pod filters, **** pods!

If you like the 250 but just want a little more power, then pipe the **** down.

For the price of a new pipe and power commander, I may as well just get a faster bike.

But really you're probably looking at $1000. Selling your bike + $1000 = ????

Not sure but I don't think a diesel was available on the 12' and under escapes. I have a 13' escape it only comes 4 cyl gas.. Mine has the 2.0 twin turbo.

It wasnt. lol they were 4 or 6 cyl. gas. So thats why the black smoke was not a good thing even floored.

I also have a the 13 escape. 2 liter ecoboost. pretty sure its a single turbo though. Not two.. I saw the engine at SEMA and it looked like there was only one.

You are right I was off on the twin thing

"
2.0-liter EcoBoost™ in Ford will deliver up to 247 horsepower and 250 lb.-ft. of torque using high-tech tools like turbocharging and direct gasoline injection

Twin independent variable camshaft timing (Ti-VCT) working with turbocharging and fuel injection maximizes horsepower, torque and fuel economy at all engine speeds, helping eliminate lag and flat spots in power delivery"

Its mainly my wifes ride I got a company car and the ninjette. To tell you the truth I was quoting the salesman, I told the wife to get what she wanted Its hers and she must take care of the service so i didn't really research it for her. All I know is when u put that thing in Sport mode and mash the gas pedal its freaking quick.

Yeah I rarely do that... I hate seeing my gas millage go down... haha But yeah I test drove the 2.0 ecoboost first... and after I drove it I didnt want to go NA or to the 1.6... hahaha. Mine is also the "wifes" car. I drive it on the weekends when we all go somewhere. Otherwise she drives it. That salesman was stupid... lol
