LED Light Issue

I went ahead and replaced the tail lights with mimi CF LED lights and it looks amazing. I have done alot of research tho and and reading and knew that I needed a new sensor to fix the flash rate and make them work properly. Here in lies the problem. I ordered the Kawasaki universal led normalizing sensor Plug and Play from RoaringCustoms.com. It has my bike listed along with several others and I ordered it through a actual bike shop from the parts catalog.

Got it home, took off the seat and left rear farings and cannot find for the life of me where it plugs in. There was not another single sensor that matched the one that was sent to me. I have checked with the shop and the website and they both say that will fit my bike. Its a '09.

Only thing I could think of was do I have to look up by the headlight and take off the front fairings and front cowling? Has anyone used this part or a plug and play sensor before and where did you have to mount it?

Any help would be nice as right now the lights will not blink at all and both of them always come on when I turn on juts one blinker. I also have no front blinkers and think that might be part of the both lights and no blinking problem. PLEASE HELP!

to be clear...when i said there was nomtahcing sensor...I meant there was not another plug in piece that matched the end on the sensor.

I can't even get their website to work properly, but by the sounds of things you were sold a flasher relay, which means you'll need to pull your existing flasher relay and replace with the one you bought. without seeing what you got tho, that's all the speculation I'm prepared to make.

Sam - You are awsome. I could find this anywhere! Heres the problem and now I think I know what I am going to need to do. I was bale to find this and thought it was the relay but was unsure. Now I know I was gunning for the right sensor. My problem now is that the connectors are different. The stocker comes in a larger "L" shape and the other is not remotly the same. I am going to see if I cant find a connector to connector wire or if I need to order a new relay all together.

Thank you for your help! If you or anyone knows of where I could get the correct relay or a connector-to-connector wire please let me know.

Check this thread:

You should see a link for the replacement flasher

Here you go:

Lastly, you need to purchase a CF12ANL-01 relay from www.superbrightleds.com here is the link for that:

Thanks...this has the correct "pins" as I see now. Dumb question probably....will this make them flash and slow down the flash rate?

Yes they will flash perfectly. The new flasher will need a ty-wrap to hold it to the rubber mounting thing.

Thanks ALL

I went ahead and ordered the correct relay from the above website and it will be here in a couple days! Thanks for the help. Ive already got plans for mounting it in a more simple area as well. Hopefully this time everything works!
