Cafe Racer Headlight Bracket

For all of you that have converted a Pregen into a Cafe Racer. What headlight bracket did you use.

I've tried 2 different ones from Amazon and neither fits right.

From what I can tell I should have 36mm forks on the bike. The two I tried are supposed to fit a size range in that and they don't even come close to fitting. I'm finding clamps for 35mm, 39mm, and 41mm. But nothing for 36mm.

I've been toying with the idea, I've been looking at the Blue Collar Bobbers kit. I just need another Ninjette, I'm NOT cutting up SERENITY.

They offer the kit in separate parts, you might want to drop them an e-mail.

Unlike their other kits, they do not offer th Blue Collar Bobber in parts or sub kits. It is all or nothing. I did contact them, they did give me a 10% discount code if I want to order the kit. But for me there are a couple of problems with their kit. I want to maintain the possibility of carrying a passenger, so I don't want there seat frame or seat, I also don't want their front tire, and my tank has already had body work to fill in the fairing depression, so I don't need their tank panels.

I'm also a cheap SOB and I can't get past the fact that the money they are asking for that kit is about $100 less than I paid for all four of my ninjettes.

Then you can make it your self. It is just flat steel or aluminum. Given the to choice. Fork or frame. I would rather have the headlight attached to the frame.
