Multi-Gage for the Ninjette?

I've been flirting with the idea for a while now about buying a multi-gage for my FZ-1, and the thought occured to me that I would much rather have one for my GF's 250, because she relies on me to keep track of her fuel levels and what not (my bike goes through 4 tanks to her 1, so she really doesn't have to worry ever).

Does anybody know if they make such a thing for the 250, or if there is even capability to gage the fuel level electronically? I don't believe there is, but it would be a neat little gadget to replace the temp. gage.

Here is a link to the aftermarket multi-gage in production for the FZ-1's:

Just reset the odometer each time she refills, keep an eye on it and stop for refill again after 180 ~ 200 miles.

Never reset the odometer while it is moving.

I realize that, and thats what she does most times, what i was asking is if there is any way to hook up an ELECTRONIC fuel gage, where she could glance at it while riding and say "oh, I've got a half-tank of fuel!" not "oh jeez we've gone 100 miles, my bike gets 50mpg so i've used 2 gallons out my my 4 gallon tank, so i should have about a half-tank left!"

Anyway, that being said...
I don't believe there is any way of hooking up any electronic device to measure fuel levels, does anybody know anything else about this? It was just a thought, if not oh well

I believe that I have seen scooters that have something similar, but I have been wrong before.

The gadget exists, as this Google search shows:

It's not only a matter of adding the gauge, it's figuring out how to install a sensor in a tank that wasn't designed for one. With enough time and money anything's possible, but it's not a simple task.

Her generation ninjette has a fuel petcock with a Reserve and On setting; make sure that she knows how to use the Reserve setting, and she'll never run out of gas. (i.e. never leave it on reserve, only flip to it when needed, and flip back after filling the tank).

I appreciate the advice on how to calculate fuel mileage and how to use the reserve, both of which she already knows how to do. Basically all I was asking/presenting was the question, if anybody had already installed something similar? To which the answer must be no.

So, how about the other functions of the gage, voltage/temps? I'm assuming somebody around here has installed gages for those types of things before. They seem pretty straight forward as far as adding sensors in the appropriate places.

Basically, the only thing I was going for with this gage is the coolness/geek factor, for some reason I just like adding stuff to bikes that most other people don't have.
